Why Choose an Intermatic Contractor Box?

Building a lighting control with à la carte components takes time. It requires installers to wrangle an enclosure, time clock, contactor, terminal strip, and other components. This takes away from other work activities and can lead to inconsistencies, especially if there are issues sourcing parts.

Moreover, while individual components may be UL-listed and include warranties, the final assembled solution may not actually be UL recognized, as those individual components may not have been tested to work together as a system. If there’s an issue down the road, the end user (or installer) is on the hook for handling any maintenance or repairs. Installers may also be held responsible for resolving non-compliance or occupancy permitting issues if an à la carte solution isn’t built up to code.

• 12-Pole Electronic Lighting Contractor Box

Our workhorse solution supports large-scale lighting applications, such as universities, public parks, and corporate campuses. The UL-listed control includes an Astronomic 7-day/365-day time clock and is designed to support LED.

• 8-Pole Electronic Lighting Contractor Box

This solution features an Astronomic 7/365-Day time clock that is paired with two 4-pole electrically held contactors making it a perfect fit for big box stores or other large buildings like high schools, activity centers, or hospitals. Each contactor can be timed separately.

• 4-Pole Electronic Lighting Contractor Box

This solution features an Astronomic 7-day/365-day time clock paired with a 4-pole electrically held contactor. It’s great for basic outdoor lighting control applications, such as strip malls, parking lots, and public parks.

• 3-Pole All-Purpose Electronic Contractor Box
